7. One day He will come back and bring all those who believe in Him to heaven. 7. I Thessalonians 4:13-18


And they called His name Jesus... (Matthew 1:21)

For God so loved the world (mankind) that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish (spiritual and physical death), but have everlasting life (in heaven with Him).
(John 3:16)

In other words, God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.

But there is a problem: God is Holy.

Ever since man rebelled against God in the garden of Eden, man has not been able to see Him or be with Him. Man's rebellion is called sin, and causes separation from God.

But God sent His only Son, Jesus, who is perfect in every way, to die and pay the penalty for all our sins. He tells us that He loves us, that He wants us to have a relationship with Him, and He wants us to be able to spend eternity with Him in heaven.

Now there is no separation between us and God if we simply believe that Jesus is who He claims to be (our Lord and Savior), confess this belief to Him and ask His forgiveness, and He will give us His free gift of love and eternal life.

It does not matter who we are or what we have done. The example we have is the thief who died on the cross next to Jesus: he believed Jesus and asked Him to save him, and Jesus said to him, "Today you shall be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43)

This may sound incredible, BUT IT IS TRUE ! All we have to do is BELIEVE and CONFESS ! (Romans 10:10)

God explains our circumstances in the Bible...

  1. All men have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
  2. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
  3. If I confess my sins, He is faithful and just to forgive me of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
  4. As many as received Him, to them gave he the power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on His name. (John 1:12)

If you want to ask God to forgive you and give you eternal life, you need to pray the "sinner's prayer":

O God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I am not worthy to be in your presence. I believe that Jesus is the Christ, your only begotten son, and that He has paid the debt for my sin with his death on the cross. Today I ask Jesus to come into my heart and heal my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Thank you for your free gift of eternal life. I now ask that you send the Holy Spirit into my life to teach me how to be more like your Son, Jesus. Amen.


If you have asked Jesus to come into your life,

  1. You can say, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)
  2. You can discover more about Him by reading more verses like this ! God (the Holy Spirit) wants to help you !
  3. You should find a local group of Bible believing Christians in a church or study group to help you grow. (Ask for a born-again Christian to talk to. Not even all ministers are born-again !)
  4. VERY IMPORTANT ! Read what Jesus says about The Sower Luke 8:4-15. You are a new Christian and are vulnerable to losing the details of this precious FREE gift ! Non born-again people will cause you to be confused ! The Holy Spirit will open your understanding as you study the Bible.
  5. PRINT EVERYTHING OUT and keep it for reference !
